A 4L Kevlar belt is a light-duty V-belt reinforced with aramid (Kevlar) cords normally warpped in a coloued dry cotton cover. Specifically designed for applications requiring high tensile strength, and ideally suited for lawn and garden type equipment due to its minimal stretch, resistance to shock, oil and heat, along with antistatic properties and the ability to withstand reverse flexing around idler pulleys. The "4L" specifies a nominal top width of 1/2 inch (approximately 13 mm).
